Welcome to the official shop and services page for The Anna Solkowski Foundation. We proudly operate our museum and shop out of the North Center neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois.
Support Our Mission
Your generous contributions go directly toward paying our overhead costs and ensuring our employees are provided with health insurance. We believe in taking care of the people who help preserve our history.
Financial Transparency & Tax Status: The Anna Solkowski Foundation is organized as a non-profit corporation in the state of Illinois. We are currently pending our charitable 501(c)(3) status (IRS Form 1023). Therefore, donations are not tax-deductible at this time. However, we believe in full transparency—the organization's financials are made available to anyone upon request.
Vintage Typewriter Shop
Our curated collection of vintage, fully-functioning typewriters will be available for purchase online very soon. Check back for updates!
Typewriter Repair Program
Use this portal to submit payment for your typewriter repair services. Please note that actual repairs are currently handled by our trusted partner organizations. To ensure your treasured machine is safe, this service includes white-glove transportation to and from the repair stations.
Service Caveat: Repair services are executed by independent third-party partners. The Anna Solkowski Foundation acts strictly as a facilitator for these services and logistics. Terms of service and liability limits apply to the white-glove transit and repair process.
